What the service is
Ravuni is a record-keeping system for rent, charges, payments and related figures. It is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, an escrow service, a tax agent or a firm of accountants.
What we do not do with your money
We never hold, receive or transmit your funds or your landlords' funds. Rent goes to your own paybill and your own bank exactly as it would otherwise. Where the system records a payout, that is a record of a payment you made — the system does not move money.
Accuracy and responsibility for figures
The system computes figures from the data you enter and the rules configured for your organisation. You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for your tax position, and for your filings. Tax rules change; we make reasonable efforts to keep rule sets current but do not warrant that any computed figure is correct for your circumstances. Confirm with your advisor.
Your data
Your data remains yours. You may export it at any time. On termination we make it available for export for [PERIOD] and then delete it on request. We will not withhold your data as leverage in any dispute, including a billing dispute.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it on standard plans. [Enterprise response times are agreed separately.] Planned maintenance is notified in advance where practicable.
Fees
Plans are billed [monthly in arrears / as stated at sign-up], exclusive of VAT. Unit limits are as published. Exceeding a limit does not suspend your access — we will contact you and move you to the appropriate plan from the following billing period.
Ending it
You may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period. We may terminate for non-payment after notice, or for unlawful use. In either case the export provisions above apply.
Liability

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
